Process Improvement Training and Facilitation

act-planMost of the various methods of process and quality improvement in use today share some common principles and concepts. One of these core concepts is the P-D-C-A cycle (aka Shewhart Cycle, Deming Wheel). The four phases of the cycle of work, Plan, Do, Check, and Act, describe the general order of major phases of work involved in improving a process. This cycle, and the original seven basic quality tools, are commonly used in most improvement methods in use today, including Six Sigma and LEAN.

SCS is experienced in training and using these fundamental concepts and tools on an as-needed basis or as part of a full P-D-C-A based continuous improvement or rapid cycle improvement curriculum. Services include curriculum design, training, team facilitation, and project reviews.
